Here are some of most common kitchen questions we’re asked:

+

I’ve had bad experiences in the past using tradespeople and don’t want lots of different people working in our house.

The JM interiors fitting team is not subcontracted meaning we handle all aspects of the kitchen installation including electrics, plumbing & finishing. We’re very proud of our tidy, helpful and courteous team.

My partner & I like different things

We offer creative & innovative ways to make your space unique to your needs and tastes. We often come up with ideas that people haven’t previously considered such as different colour schemes or simple ways to add wow factor. We find it helps to give you a different perspective and of course you can spend time in our extensive showroom which is packed full of different designs & ideas.

+

I’m unsure about colour schemes

We provide a colour advisory service where we can guide you through the options & carry comprehensive ranges of door designs.  We spray our own furniture onsite so can offer our clients a limitless colour palate.

Aren’t bespoke kitchens expensive?

A very common misconception is that our bespoke service will carry a price tag beyond client’s budgets. Producing bespoke cabinets & doors can often be a more cost effective solution rather than trying to work around restrictive standard sizes. We strongly recommend an opportunity to discuss your project through. You may be pleasantly surprised!

Our kitchen is small, how do we maximise the space?

Inventive & intelligent design is crucial to ensure all available space is utilised. Our custom designed & manufactured furniture can work around awkward shapes & sizes to provide practical storage ideas that will maximise your kitchen space.

+

We’re having an extension built so it’s very difficult to visualise how it’s going to look and hard to say when we’ll be ready for installation

We regularly work alongside architects and builders from initial planning stages. This usually involves providing working scaled plans of the room, together with detailed electrical and plumbing plans. Regular meetings and progress reports are put into place to ensure the project progresses and runs smoothly. When you’re ready so are we.

We also offer a supply only service if you have commissioned your builder to install your kitchen.

We live in an old property with period features, how do we have a modern kitchen but stay true the character of the house?

Combining natural timbers with painted finishes strikes the perfect balance between timeless quality and contemporary clean lines. Adding light, neutral colours are a creative way of giving any room a more airy and spacious feel which is particularly relevant if your room is not south facing or is darkened by small windows.

There are many modern touches you can add to a more traditional kitchen.
