The Science Bit
The self-cleaning function heats the oven up to 500 C, turning all residue to ash, which can be simply wiped up with a damp cloth at the end of the cleaning process. Some of our ovens even have more than one cleaning cycle, which varies in time depending on how dirty the oven is. Whether it is lightly or heavily soiled, these clever ovens will clean themselves to look as good as new. Some models even have a cleaning reminder function so you’ll never get caught out by unannounced visitors again!
